Selection

Our application process gives you the chance to get to know Project Trust and the opportunities we offer. It allows us to assess which volunteering experience from our range of placements could be right for you.

This ensures we can offer you a volunteering opportunity that enables you to get the most out of the experience whilst making a positive impact in a community abroad.

Apply online

Complete our quick application form to express your interest in applying for one of our international placements. Once we have reviewed your application, we’ll be in touch to book a welcome call.

Project Trust strives to offer our volunteering opportunities to all young people with the desire, motivation and aptitude to realise their potential through a long-term, international volunteering experience.

Welcome Call

Once your application has been received, a member of our team will be in touch with a welcome call. This is a chance for you to ask any initial questions and where we will find out a little bit more about you and your motivation for applying for an international volunteer placement.

One Day Selection Course

Once your application has been accepted, and you have received your welcome call, you will be invited to join a one day online Selection Course.  Taking part in small group activities, individual tasks and an interview, you will have the opportunity to meet staff and other potential volunteers, share your skills and interests and demonstrate your strengths. This will help us to assess which volunteering experience from our range of placements could be right for you. You will learn about Project Trust and the opportunities we offer and have a chance to ask any further questions.

Next steps

If we are able to match you with a placement and you confirm your acceptance, our Fundraising Support Team will be in touch to explain the next steps and start sharing advice and ideas for fundraising.

If we are unable to match you with a project abroad, we will signpost you to other organisations that may be more suitable. We are unable to provide individual feedback.
