Peru

Peru’s rich cultural heritage, rooted in Incan civilization and diverse Indigenous communities, makes it an inspiring backdrop for a meaningful volunteering experience. While volunteering, you’ll immerse yourself in daily life, develop close ties with local people, and gain a deeper understanding of both the country’s strengths and the challenges many communities face.

Through Project Trust, young people aged 17–25 can volunteer in areas such as teaching, youth development, community health, environmental projects, and school support. Each placement is designed to be a true exchange: while you share your skills, energy, and creativity, you’ll also learn from the resilience, warmth, and resourcefulness of the people you live and work with.

Outside of work, you’ll have free time to explore, learn about local culture, possibly travel to archaeological sites, or hike in the mountains.
