Malawi Copy

There is much more to Malawi, however, than its inspiring scenery. Its people are known as the friendliest in the world and are warmly welcoming. It is, however, also one of the poorest countries in Africa. Our placements are carefully selected with local partners to ensure that our Volunteers make a real and lasting positive impact. In return, Volunteers are greeted with open arms and forge meaningful connections within the community.

The common theme throughout a Volunteer’s time in Malawi is that ‘The Warm Heart of Africa’ is more than just sentiment. Abundantly evident in everyday life from the benevolent reception they receive from strangers in the street to our projects. It is reflected in the beautiful artwork, music, and food on offer in Malawi. There is both opportunities to live on-site or independently and cook for yourself in Malawi, but regardless of your accommodation you will be able to explore the local area, shop at the markets and make friends in the community.
