Jiujiang Experimental School

You will be working as a Volunteer at Jiujiang Experimental School, a well-established foreign language school in Jiujiang, China, where you will support students by teaching English in an internationally focused learning environment.

Your Project

Founded as a specialist foreign language school, Jiujiang Experimental School combines strong academic education with a focus on international learning and language development. In 1998, it was recognised as one of China’s National Foreign Language Experimental Schools and has since built a strong reputation for academic achievement and global engagement.

The school has around 2,400 students and a highly qualified teaching team, with many staff holding senior teaching titles or postgraduate qualifications. The school also has experience working with international teachers and has welcomed foreign educators from countries including the UK, Australia, Japan, Germany, and Canada.

Students study a range of foreign languages, including English, Japanese, and German, and the school places strong emphasis on cultural exchange and international cooperation. It has established partnerships with schools in several countries and regularly takes part in international exchange programmes.

The campus is equipped with modern teaching facilities, including multimedia classrooms, language labs, science laboratories, and digital learning resources, creating a supportive and engaging environment for both students and Volunteers.

Accommodation

Volunteers will live on site in comfortable accommodation, with at least one other Volunteer. More details about your accommodation will be available prior to your training course.
