STEKA

You will be supporting children and young people at STEKA, a Family Home located in Nyambadwe, Blantyre in southern Malawi.

Your Project

You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day lives of the incredible children at the STEKA home. From helping with homework to offering emotional encouragement and guidance, you’ll be a trusted mentor and a positive role model. Whether you’re leading creative activities, providing one-on-one support, or simply sharing your time and energy, your impact will be felt every day. 

You will also have the chance to teach at STEKA’s nursery in the mornings and get involved in the vibrant community life at STEKA village. This growing hub is focused on developing and delivering vocational training and your skills and passion can help bring these projects to life. 

This exciting and rewarding project lets you make a real impact on both the daily life of the home and the futures of the young people living there. 

Accommodation

You and your partner will be living on-site at the home. You will have a shared bedroom with your own bathroom.

Your living allowance provided by Project Trust will cover your daily living costs.
