St Michaels

You’ll be teaching at St Michael’s R.C School, a remote boarding school located a 45-minute drive west of Outjo and just south of the Etosha Game Reserve.

Your Project

Originally founded in 1954 as a Roman Catholic mission, the school now provides vital education to children from rural farming communities. With over 300 students living on-site during term time, it’s a full-immersion environment where you’ll become a key part of the school’s daily life.

You’ll be teaching a range of subjects to students in Grades 1–7. Beyond the classroom, you’ll get stuck into a wide mix of extracurricular activities from sports and drama to art and music. The school values hands-on involvement, and you’ll be encouraged to bring your own interests and energy to the table.

This is a unique chance to become part of a tight-knit team, form lasting connections with colleagues and students, and play a meaningful role in their growth and development.

Accommodation

You will share a flat on the school site. You and your partner will each have your own bedroom. The flat also has a bathroom, kitchen and sitting room. You will do your own cooking and have access to laundry facilities.

Your living allowance provided by Project Trust will cover your daily living costs.
