Debriefing Online
Debriefing is an opportunity for you to discuss your international placement and returning home with people who have had a similar experience. The evening will also give us the opportunity to listen to you and to evaluate your Project Trust experience so far.
We were sorry not to see you at Debriefing, but hope you will join us on October 8th for an evening of sharing, reminiscing, and planning ahead.
This is also an opportunity for you to remain engaged with Project Trust as a Returned Volunteer. This can come in many forms; paid and voluntary opportunities as school speakers, Ambassadors, Mentors – you will be part of our Returned Volunteer Network where you can continue to meet like-minded people and potentially open up further study, volunteer and career opportunities in the future.
See below for information on key information, ways to give feedback and resources to help with culture shock.
Over the course of a few hours, you will be invited to share favourite and important memories with each other, provide feedback to Project Trust, and think about what comes next – both using your experience to help you in your career, and how to stay involved with the Project Trust community.
You don’t need to prepare anything specifically for the evening, although if you would like to wear any clothing from your Project and have a wee drink ready for a toast at the end of the night, you are encouraged to do so.

In the weeks following this course, we will make bookable slots available to you to speak to Senior Managers at Project Trust. This is for any concerns you had at your placement, or topics you want to discuss with us but would not feel comfortable raising in a group setting. Volunteers at Debriefing had the opportunity to do this during the evenings, and we feel it is important to offer this to you too.
Complete our Impact Survey!
We will take time to explain our Impact survey during the evening, but if you have time ahead of the night to complete this survey for us, please do so below:
Equal Opportunities
We are committed to making Project Trust fair and accessible, and would be grateful if you would take a moment to complete our brief Equal Opportunities form:
Share your favourite content
The best way to show prospective Volunteers what a Project Trust placement looks like is through your eyes – we would love any photos or videos from your Project that you’d be happy to share with us to inspire the next generation:
