News Story: Alumni Engagement Time2Shine Leader
About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Alumni Engagement Time2Shine Leader to join our team. This is a new role within the organisation, supported by the Rank Foundation’s Time2Shine Leader programme. The focus of the role will be on increasing engagement with our Alumni and contributing to the development of our Alumni fundraising strategy. We are looking for an individual with proven planning and organisational skills, excellent communication and relationship management skills and the ability to take responsibility for identifying and developing opportunities. The ideal candidate will have experience in fundraising and familiarity with social media communication strategies.
A key element of the role is a fantastic mentoring and leadership development programme supported by the Rank Foundation and aimed at developing the skills and confidence of people starting their career in the social sector.
The role is home-based and with some travel throughout the UK, including overnight stays. There will be the occasional requirement to work evenings and weekends.
Main areas of responsibility include:
- Scope out, present and implement opportunities for development of our Alumni Strategy, increasing Alumni engagement
- Develop an Alumni legacy fundraising strategy
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive Donor Journey
- Contribute to research into determining factors necessary to fundraising success
